In Harper's Bazaar's upcoming August 2011 issue, Anne Hathaway wears Alexander McQueen.

Talking about fashion, Anne says she “feels like the luckiest girl in the world when I get to wear all these glamorous clothes,”but away from the red carpet, she is decidedly more moderate: “I’ve become a lot more specific about what I love and why I’m doing it,” she says. (Harper's Bazaar)

Last week I ordered my bridal shower favors, well one part of the favor. I'm creating a little package. However, without divulging too much information (as I want an element of surpirse for my guests) I ordered from beau-coup and less than a week later my favors arrived! Which is amazing and you know what else is fantastic; Canada Postal workers are on strike, not so great (therefore my shower invites have yet to leave my desk) however;
(1)guess the strike doesn't matter as beau-coup used UPS (yay! I thought it was coming regular mail)
(2) shower is in August so I assumed favors would arrive in July
(3) product looks way better than expected-bonus!!
(4) got to order in P.J's with latte in hand

party dress amor {Kirribilla}

With an upcoming wedding in Paris next month and my bridal shower in August I've been looking for party dresses. How pretty are Kirribilla dresses? Très chic.... Would also be the perfect dress for a gorgeous engagement photoshoot. Oh dear I have alot of dresses to buy this year.

Decor Complete! {Designs by Dina}

Yesterday I had my decor meeting at the banquet hall to discuss ideas and as each day gets closer to the wedding I get more and more excited! Finding the right vendors makes a huge difference on a bride-to-be's mind frame. Thus far I am extremely happy with the choices I've made, most vendors I've chosen have been purely on the vibe I get, I know right? But when you meet the right vendor who shares your vision it's just a wave of relief. Designs by Dina was highly recommended by a friend of mine who has worked with her in the past (TIP: always try to find personal referrals) and she was the only event decorator I met. She listens well and understands what the client wants, with 20 years experience in the business she knows her stuff!
Considering its June and the wedding is four months away most of the planning is done, not bad right?

Can't forget the flower girls! Although I don't have bridesmaids I have chosen two flower girls. And both love fashion so that should be an exciting shopping trip! I stumbled across mygirldress and wow they have such a large collection of flower girl dresses. Here are a few of my favourites!
